(Here is in a way chapter 1 of my orginal story)

In the beginning there was light and shadow. The light and shadow worked together creating the world. The light created the sun and the stars. The shadow created the moon and the earth. The light for she wanted children created the creatures of the world. This act made the shadow angry. He created a world inside of the light world. There millions of creatures lived in darkness. While the light taught her children to love and care. The shadow taught his children to hate and destroy. When it came time for the light and the shadow to depart from the world they created the shadow brought his army to the surface. His intentions were to stop the light from leaving and kill her forever. In response to seeing her children killed before her very eyes she created noble warriors. She named them Paladins. Sworn to fighting for justice and freedom they battled the armies of the shadow. The newly made paladins turned the tide of battle forcing the shadow to retreat back to his dark home. Many lives were lost on that day. The light took pity on her children. She created one last gift for her children. It was a blockage cutting off the light realm and the shadow realm. No one has dared go near it for fear of death.

"This Council will come to order!" barked a voice banging a table. "There are reports that creatures from the dark have been spotted." "Impossible! The goddess sealed them away forever." The chairman sighed softly. Another meeting...but yet this one has a different feel to it. The chairman stood up and cleared his throat. "We shall send a task force of paladins to investigate this matter." He yelled. "Meeting is adjourned!" He watched as the senators from all nations left. He breathed a sigh of relief praying to the goddess that this matter would soon be over. He motions for a runner. "Take this over to the temple. They will know what to do from there." He said motioning the runner to the door. The runner took off heading to the temple note clutched in hand. He passed several buildings with marble and granite designs in the spiraling columns reaching far above the door. The temple was a large building made entirely out of Ivory. It was a gift from the great nation of Korton. The guards stopped the runner at the door. He handed them the note for the delivery with his job complete he went his own way. The guard holding the note walked into the temple handing it to the master of the temple. A loud bell was rung before a shout. "Squad 6 please come to the front of the temple." Eight paladins entered the room awaiting orders. One was short and bulky this was a dwarf from the nation Jasto. Two of them were tall and thin and pale white skin he and she were light elves. Three of them appeared to be humans. The last two looked vicious humanoid cat like creatures. These were the leotons from Loknar region. "You are the finest squad of paladins we have. You are to go scout the area around the cutoff point from the darkness. Make sure to wound the hostiles not kill them. Understood?" The taskmaster said. "Sir yes sir." yelled the squad. "Very well then. Get your gear and head out. By the goddess will we serve." "By the goddess." They headed into their quarters getting ready. Within two minutes they were ready and mounted riding to the site. "Ey Zakuran." The dwarf said. "What do ye think the enemy looks like?" The human named Zakuran turned his head towards the dwarf. "No idea Turrik. Personally I hope we don't find them. A war is not something we need to have." The light elf leading them turned. "Cut the chatter. We don't need anything being said until we get there. Understood?" She said narrowing her white eyes towards them. "Y-yes Shantino." They said at the same time. There was silence until they reached the pure white stone blocking the way into the shadow world. Shantino dismounted and motioned for the rest of her squad to dismount.
She watched with cold eyes as the paladians dismounted. "Zakuran and Turrik go inspect the seal." She said softly. Turrik and Zakuran unsheathed their weapons. Turrik had always liked maces while Zakuran always carried a long sword. They reached the seal and to their surprise the seal was gone. Zakuran motioned for Shantino to come over to them. "The seals gone. We must warn the council of elders." Zakuran said with a look of worry. Shantino looked at the hole where the seal once was. "No. We enter the shadow world." She said motioning for her squad to follow her. As they entered the darkness Zakuran could hear screams of torture and pain. Surrounding him was darkness. He felt the pain of many creatures writhing in pain then silence as he emerged into a world burning in chaos and disarray. He turned franticly looking for his friends. To his horror he found them brutally slain. Their bodies mangled and distorted from pain and burned beyond recognition. Tears fell from his eyes as he mourned for his comardes. He used his sword to dig graves for his friends.
He stood up crossing his arms praying to the goddess for their souls to rest in peace. He looked around this destroyed world. He felt as if he knew this place almost like it was a second home to him. He ventured forth alert and expecting trouble. As he walked he thought about his friends he buried. He didn't see Shantino or Turrik's bodies as he was digging graves. He knew something was wrong but he couldn't figure it out. He sighed not enjoying this at all. He saw in the distance smoke from what looked like a village. He headed in that direction seeing signs of destruction and death as he followed a path. After a few moments he saw what looked like an elf laying on the side of the road. He knelt before looking at the body. To his shock the body moved breathing slowly. He felt for a pulse it was weak but it was there. He shook the creature awake. He watched as a female stood before him. The elf's body was dark in color with red burning eyes. "Who are you out-lander?" She said her voice filled with confusion. He stood keeping his weapon hidden. "I'm known as Zakuran. And you are?" He said wanting to learn more about her. The elves eyes widened as she heard his name. She didn't cower but it seemed like she knew that name all too well. "Your a light dweller aren't you?" She said not giving her name. "Yes I am but that still doesn't give me your name?" He said not enjoying her games. "My name is of no importance at the moment. But your name is very important here. Your name is a shadow name. A name of a descendant of the shadow god." She said chuckling softly. He looked shocked hearing that his name was that of a descendant of the god of death.  He mostly zoned out thinking about how he was a direct descendant of the shadow god. As he stared at the dark elf he could hear a whisper itching at the back of his head it was a faint noise hard to make out but the words he could hear sounded familiar "Take...godslayer...end...all.." He snapped back to reality when he realized that she hadnt given him her name. "Its a common practice in my land for someone to give their name as well." He said looking at her dark red eyes. He heard her sigh softly. "You may call me Nashal." She said softly. She looked back at the village seeing that the flames had died down. "For now think of me as your guide to your destiny." She said with a small smile. He gave her a quick confused glance but went along with it. After what felt like an eternity of walking they stopped in the middle of the village. Burned and charred corpses filled the square. It seemed there where no survivors from this hellish and mindless destruction. He bent low praying to the goddess for their souls. "Mercy for thine souls passing from this world, Oh great one." He stood up looking around something glinting in the distance caught his eye. He felt drawn towards it. Nashal grabbed his shoulder, "There are somethings in this world that are best left alone." She said in a timid voice. He shrugged her hand off feeling the itching once again in the back of his head. He was surprised to what he found a simple glass mirror. He heard the voice "Peer inside to ones...destiny." It told him. He looked into the mirror seeing himself holding a sword sending what looked like spheres of the night sky. The vision blurred towards a man writing in a book his outfit not even known to his lands. He heard the man shout "SHUT UP SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU LOSERS! GOD DAMN ALL OF YOU !! DO ANY OF YOU HAVE FUCKING LIVES DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE MY LIFE SO FUCKING MISRABLE!! GO THE FUCK AWAY ONE DAY ALL OF YOU WILL BE DEVOURED BY… FUCKING DEMONS!!!!!!!!" He watched in horror as the sky grew red and horrible monsters ripped and tore everything living and unliving to shreds. The vision shifted to a man wearing an odd pair of pants reading a dust covered book. He could see the pages covered in blood. The vision shifted again showing himself sitting on a throne made of nothing but ice. He closed his eyes snapping back to reality. The sword from the vision was stuck in the ground. "Wield..me...May..we crush our foes." He reached out grabbing the hilt yanking it from the ground. "COME FORTH GODSLAYER SO THAT OUR ENEMYS WILL COWER BEFORE OUR MIGHT!" He shouted his armor turning black crackling with blood red energies. His body trembled with his new found power. His normal black hair turned white as snow. Nashal walked over towards him bowing before him. "My lord...I give my life to you so that we together may end the Dark Ones hold over this land." She said gazing up at him in fear. "No..We wont end the Dark Ones hold just over this land. We shall end the gods hold over all worlds." He said laughing in a much deeper voice then he had before he touched the sword.
